free love

I'm starting to think that I'm becoming more hippie like by the day. from the whole i prefer my foods organic, raw, free range. etc. i like my fun grown from the best farmers. i like my music rustic, urban, folk, classic, rock. i like my men more relax less type a, non workaholics, loving the dreamers, the thinkers, the artists. i am more about living then trying to be cool. but yes. i do have a mac, and yes i do have a blackberry and yes i do have a digital camera, but i use them all to keep me in the know of the things i really care about. I'm reading more about current events, the world around me. I'm starting to form my own thoughts/opinions of what i think is right according to my own life experiences. I'm growing up and changing. I'm more open with sexual side. i know myself more than ever and its kinda cool.

some people carry on their lives to pass time to just be cool, in trend, hot. but growing up and seeing that growth within yourself is probably much cooler than getting into that club, talking to that celebrity or fucking that hot person. being able to have lunch/dinner alone and being okay with the world around u and being able to enjoy your self's company is amazing.

I'm growing up. And its kinda hippie of the modern world.

a fast and cheap society...

i started to thinking about the world around me today... not that i do not thinking about my surroundings but sometimes or rather most of the time its much easier to be ignorant of the hell around me. Although for some strange reason, coming to school, attending class, I've come to learn that I'm not as smart as i like to be, but i am a bit more informed on something more so than others. it seems that today, our youth, are more of a fast and cheap group of people.

we want our information, food, sex, friendships, relationships etc, fast. we want what we think we want right away and dispose of it quite quickly thereafter we are bored of it. nothing is permanent in out day and age. i see art being a way in which our world is keeping track of the fast pace world, but it cannot do it alone. how will we define these 50 years in 100 years? what will our great great great grand kids say about our society? along with fast things. we want things cheap. it seems quality is lacking in the list of things people want these days, it goes hand in hand with the fast things. a fast girl isn't necessary the nicest/smartest/beautiful, but it will serve the purpose of the moment/day/hour/feelings. so who cares if the food that you're eating was grown with chemicals, it is a full 20cents cheaper than the organic local farm fruit that is sitting in a small section of the overly large market.

i want a man of quality/integrity/intelligence/sex appeal... I'm waiting and will try my best to not give into the many moments of temptations I've had in the past for something fast. because i am a part of this society that wants things fast. but i am aware of my flaws in wanting that. i want things of quality. i want to eat something that i know will not kill me. i want to listen to music that is written to make me feel. i want to look at art that is thought provoking or just plain wonderful. i want to read something other than what a certain celebrity has done with her lack of underpants. i would love to see change. but i am only responsible for me and my own thoughts. strange. so today is another day in which i will fight with myself to not fall into the same silly trends of our not so "great" society.

painting by numbers...

in a painting class....

what is art? what is beautiful? well according to my art teacher perfect ideal shading and color tinting and following the contours of a still if what is expected. having your own style of putting the paint on is encouraged but not if you want to get an A in the course. have your piece look like it was a paint by numbers and she'll rave over how wonderful it is.

but to me. its boring. i do not want my piece to look perfect. i want it to look done when i feel that there is nothing more that i can do to it. right now my piece is pissing me off. it looks like crap actually no i take that back. the darks are moving but the lights/mixes are hideous. but i like the deep color contours that i have placed around the bust of my still life. so fuck it. its my piece and if she doesn't like it then its okay because I'm okay with it. i hope i dont get poor grade in this course but its okay if i get a passing grade because i'm not an artist. i dont care about my gpa. i want to learn to appreciate the artistic skill that goes into painting and the creative style of each artist that i look at in my major.

so paint the world however you see it and share it.

send your children to hell...

hello all.

its been a while since this so here we go. summer was a blast. could have fallen in love but thank goodness it didn't happen. or rather i was forced out of it. anyhow. i had a great time back home. now I'm here in pa once again with an astounding six classes. hopefully i can get out of this place in a year. plus this semester of course.

come to realise that I've done so much better this time around with school because there isn't anything else to do. i am going to send the children that i have yet/might not have to a school in the east coast since they will probably grow up in the west coast. punish those motherfuckers to get their degrees quick. so that is going to happen to the. for sure.

also.. i love photobloggers. because if someone is trying to hide their life from you, or rather if you were trying to pry into their lives, the photobloggers dont know and you have seen proof in the pudding of what you have expected in the first place. some might not know what i'm talking about but since its my blog i dont have to explain myself. just think what you want. i dont care.
