I intern at the Carnegie Museum of Art for the Carnegie International. the theme this year is Life on Mars, it is surely an experience. I really enjoyed learning about the 39 amazing artist and seeing how other people enjoyed them as well. It was quite the opening Gala, being my first major event at any museum. I was really excited to have been given the opportunity to see what really happened in the art world. I'm giving tours and helping people out as they walk through the international.
I really love art. I think its nice that art can speak or not speak to many people. but it still exist in our world either people like it or not. I love how people react to different things because at one point I had a first reaction and now its lost. so as I see people's reaction I am able to take a glimpse of the surprise and from that I am able to learn more about the artwork and how it affects the people.
I sure hope I get more tours and I am able to help people enjoy contemporary art as much as I do. Its not about getting it, but experiencing it for what it is at that very moment.
I think my favorite artists so far is Fredrich Kunath and Doug Aitken.
