the first date.

i was recently think of how long its been since I've been on a good old date.

you know the kind, where you get excited and try to figure out what to wear. carefully thinking of the right and funny things to say. waiting to see if they say anything to you that hints at, them liking you. hoping you don't sound stupid. the awkward moments of silence when you're both at that nervous part of thinking. i really like that feeling of being scared and really hoping this person who is going to spend a few hours just with you will be interesting and that they find you interesting. you hope for it to go well, because you've been sick of being alone or bored with you're daily life. the date, that one date can make you're week go a bit brighter.

maybe I'll get lucky this year and Ill be asked to go on a date with someone who will be a great date. i guess good company of the opposite sex is a bit hard to find these days, the kind with laughter, respect, intellectual thoughts, silly stories, great conversations. you know and that silly odd moment of the night's ending kiss.. anyhow. .. with this short blog i hope everyone is thinking of one special first date.
